Director of Client Services

Position Summary: The Director of Client Services is a team player and responsible for overseeing the Sales and Design Department. This person sets sales goals, manages, coaches, teaches and trains sales staff to achieve sales goals and take care of the customer experience. Advises senior staff on sales performance and takes accountability for sales growth. The Director of Client Services is a strategic thinker who is able to plan business development and manage current accounts. Creates and implements programs to reduce project errors.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages the sales/design team to ensure the success of all projects from first meeting or phone call to completion of project, ensuring a superior client experience
  • Manages and builds relationships with current and future client accounts and develops business initiatives.
  • Builds and Develops internal systems to handle capacity growth.
  • Partners with staff and manufactures to resolve customer issues in timely manner and to their satisfaction. If problem escalates to management level, it would be your job to resolve customer issue and ensure they are Raving Fan of TKSI.
  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales/design team by motivating, counseling, mentoring, coaching, teaching skills development and increasing product knowledge and development.
  • Drives the success of the sales/design team by providing operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems, advising Senior Management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
  • Conducts the onboarding of Subcontract Installation crews
    • Conducts Interviews/Set Expectations
    • QC for Subcontract job performance

  • Monitors the performance of the sales team by establishing reports and communications involving sales reports and meetings.
  • Meets quarterly/yearly with sales staff to review sales, job costs and goals.
    • Job Cost 1.5% of sales or less
    • Minimum sales goals for each sales designer $750k year.
    • Increase sales 8-10% per year.

Secondary Functions:

  • Participates in the sales/design team, develops a strategic sales plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory, realistic cost of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.
  • Communicates clearly with internal staff and external clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the product.
  • Leads the sales/design team in the development of client relationships to increase current business and to add new accounts.
  • Develop with CEO’s Pricing structures for all customers
  • Develop internal Consistencies for each Designer/Job/builder
  • Builds relationships with the design community through business development efforts. Attending a minimum of 1 industry function per quarter and represents The Kitchen showcase’s products and values.
  • Provides high standards of ongoing training for the sales/designer representatives so they possess sufficient designs and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.
  • Minimum of twice a month participates and organizes “thought leadership” customer lunches/meetings with sales/designer and their customers.
  • Checks orders as needed for accuracy and prevents mistakes when quality control manager is out of office.
  • Manages Product delays from manufacturers, missing confirmations and lead times.
  • Steps in to handle customer accounts if Salesperson exits the company and or is on leave of absence and develops a transfer of accounts to existing sales/designer.
  • Understands the industry and industry trends.
  • Stays current on product range and competitors’ offerings to represent the brand and product accurately and confidently.
  • Possesses the ability to strategically recruit talent and groom top talent within the organization.

  • Previous experience in a Director of Client Services role with a strong client service focus

  • Ability to travel to on-site client locations on a regular basis

Kitchen & Bath Design Assistant / Jr. Sales

The Kitchen Showcase Inc. is a family owned cabinetry business in Centennial, CO. We have been providing cabinetry and the installation of those products to homeowners, builders and interior designers for over 30 years. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a full-time design assistant who is looking to build a long term relationship and career with our established company. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated and energetic individual who is skilled in kitchen and bath design. In lieu of experience, an individual with a Kitchen & Bath Design certification will be considered. The qualified candidate will be an integral part of the design team and will be responsible for managing multiple projects and providing design and administrative support to lead designers to ensure a successful completion of each project.
