Mike has been a professional in the kitchen and bath industry for nearly 15 years. A graduate from the University of Kansas School of Industrial Design, Mike brings a unique perspective to The Kitchen Showcase. He uses his in-depth knowledge of cabinetry to creatively design a beautiful kitchen, while keeping budget in mind. With a philosophy of “user centered” design, Mike strives to offer a unique space that functions well and meets his customer’s needs. His goal is to deliver his customers the kitchen of their dreams. In addition to design, Mike has extensive woodworking experience, including custom furniture, cabinets, and musical instruments. Being a hands-on “shop guy” gives Mike a well-rounded understanding of cabinet construction, as well as building processes and installation.

Specializing in custom remodeling, Mike was part of a design team in Kansas City that received accolades, including 2011 NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) National Contractor of the Year Award, several regional and local NARI awards and published projects in KC Spaces Magazine, KC Home & Garden, and Denver Life Magazine. Additionally, Mike was recognized for achievement in the industry as one of the 2013 National Kitchen and Bath 30 Under 30 professionals. In 2016, Mike designed the cabinetry for the Denver Life Magazine show house. Originally from Topeka, Kansas, he moved to Denver in October 2011 with his wife, Maggie, and their American Eskimo dog, Icee. Mike and Maggie also have two beautiful daughters; June Louise and Vada May. His hobbies include golf, cooking, hiking, and playing mandolin.
